This episode was recorded in the dark, just after a morning meditation—before coffee, before planning, before the day had a chance to interfere.
During the meditation, I was handed a single image:? a magnifying glass.
That image pulled me straight back to childhood—sitting on my driveway, holding a magnifying glass over a dry leaf, patiently finding the focal point where scattered sunlight becomes strong enough to create fire.
And that’s the lesson.
Focus isn’t about forcing more energy. It’s about gathering what’s already there and aiming it—steadily, patiently, deliberately.
In this episode, I reflect on:
???? why meditation doesn’t require a “clear mind” to work? how even a few seconds of clarity can change your direction? why focus is a lifelong practice (not a trait you “fix”)?? how creation—speaking, writing, recording—locks in insight? why one focused year can quietly change who you become
This is part meditation reflection, part metaphor, part gentle reminder that you don’t need more motivation—you need a lens.
If you’re feeling scattered…If you’re doing many good things but longing for one meaningful thing…If you sense there’s energy all around you but it hasn’t quite ignited yet…
This episode is for you.
I’ll also share why having a guide with a simple plan makes change easier—and how The Year of You is designed to help you turn intention into real, measurable progress over the next 12 months.
